SPRING CLEAN | Yr Wyddfa with The Adventure Coach!

Join Ben Turner 'The Adventure Coach' as he tackles trash on Wales' most beloved mountain by hiking EVERY route on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)!

Ben will attempt to run all the popular paths up Yr Wyddfa in a single day, removing as much single-use pollution as he can find. The Trash Free Trails Research Team will be stationed at the summit and in Llanberis to retrieve and survey the single-use pollution found, with the aim to leave Yr Wyddfa completely 'trash free' by sunset.

Join Ben for the Llanberis or Miner's Path route and help us retrieve as much single-use pollution as possible.

Please note only certain routes are open to group participation. Attendees must be mountain fit and competent hill walkers - participants join at their own risk.

OPTION 1: ⬆️ and ⬇️ Llanberis Path

Join Ben for the final leg of his route, heading up the Llanberis path from 11am, to meet Ben at the Summit of yr Wyddfa and make his final descent into town together. This group will carry our a trash survey on their way up, before dropping off what they find with the TFT Research Team at the Summit. They will then descend by the Llanberis Path with Ben to complete the day!

OPTION 2: ⬆️ Miners Path and ⬇️ Pyg Track

Join our Mountain Leaders and ascend the classic Miners Path route. This group will leave Llanberis at approximately 10:10, and get the bus up to Pen y Pas. Starting the route at 11:00am, you'll follow Ben's route up the Miner's Path to the Summit, where you'll drop any trash you've removed. You'll continue surveying on your way down the Pyg Track, returning to the Pen y Pas car park before getting the bus back to town.

If joining Option 2, we highly recommend you start from Llanberis and join to get the bus up the hill. Parking at Pen y Pas MUST be booked in advance and sells out quickly.

For the safety of Ben and volunteers these are the only two routes open to group participation. Please select ONE option when signing up. You MUST sign up to join this event - this enables up to stay in contact with you in the lead up in the case of last minute changes.
